Hello again, Winterfest guests past and future!
First order of business - we have a new domain name! From now on you'll
find Winterfest Online, as well as the fanfic database and the museum,
at batbwfol.com.
In our last missive we requested your submissions, and a number of them
arrived in short order - thank you, and keep 'em coming! The deadline is
Sunday, January 8, and remember that your submission shouldn't be
published or posted anywhere else until Winterfest is over.
Can't think what to bring to the feast? Last year, we made up a list of
silly suggestions and even though we were only joking, you came through
with half of them! So this year we present you with a list of things we
really, actually want!
-videos that tell a new story (could be a music video, or not)
-a winterfest episode that doesn't have Paracelsus or any other bad guys
in it
-a map of Below we can have online
- fanfic trailer vids
- "good parts" version of BATB (the progress of V&C's relationship)
- patterns and instructions for Vincent and Catherine dolls (Mouse?
Father? Sky's the limit!)
- early script excerpts, compiled into one place (bet you know the kind
we want!)
- a humorous skit - but if you're coming to the con, perform it there!
- more poems in the style of Dr Seuss!
- BATB comic books (screen caps with speech bubbles)
- more silly top ten lists
- your what-I-want-for-winterfest list
None of those catches your fancy? We would also like your contributions
to our Listening Chamber. Find a poem or passage in a book which you
think the folks Below would enjoy, and read it for us. All languages
welcome, all ages welcomes. Listening Chamber submissions are due
