
Catherine’s Lemon Ice
Simple but VERY good.

Catherine says this is the only thing she knows how to make except scrambled eggs. It’s so easy even she can do it. When she’s asked to any kind of potluck type party, (mostly people from the office,) she says she’ll bring dessert.
1 quart whipping cream (or half and half if you’re a wimp)
2 cups sugar
1 cup lemon juice (lime juice works too)
few drops yellow food coloring. (or green)Mix it all together until the sugar is thoroughly dissolved. Freeze it for several hours. If you want to go gourmet, put a lemon twist on top.
