As Winterfest Online 2009 approaches, we will send information on additional ways you can participate. You are likely to feel more a part of the festivities the more you participate, so please do! If you're thinking that you don't have any skills to contribute... nonsense! Remember... without your help, the Great Hall would be a dark and lonely place.
A few of you have asked us about the change in Winterfest's dates for 2009. The Winterfest preparation season has always coincided to a great degree with the holiday season. We thought folks might have more time to prepare their submissions - and it would be a less crazy time for the candlemakers - if we made Winterfest a bit later. Besides, Vincent put his foot down and absolutely refused to have a fuss made over his birthday again!

Greetings to our BATB family!
It is time again to reconnect and prepare for the 6th Annual Winterfest Online 2009. This is our special time to remember the past and dream about the future.
For a variety of reasons, WFOL 2009 has moved from its traditional spot to a brand new one. Take special care and mark your calendars for February 7-15, 2009, when the Great Hall doors will open on our fun filled celebration.

Winterfest is what all of you make of it. It is a time for sharing the light in a great feast, in which your generous and lovingly prepared contributions are the main dishes, and you are the guests of honor. Whether you feel you have talents to share for our guests enjoyment or your contribution is your attendance, enthusiasm and goodwill, we are counting on each and every one of you. WFOL 2009 will not be complete without you.
