is a real goose egg about 4" tall on a 3" gold stand.
The inside is inspired by Kevin Barne's BATB painting "Home."
The inside shell is sponged to look like rock walls and a
print of Vincent's stained glass window is glued to the shell..
I filled the egg with miniature books, candles, and picture
frame, and hand-made the balsa wood table, Vincent's pouch from
a piece of velour, and Catherine's crystal from some wire and
a clear bugle bead. The outside shell is cream and streaked with
brown to make it look old. Bits of braid and trim surround the
two Jamie Murray prints of Vincent and Catherine and the inside
and outside of the door are gold stickers.
